Paris, Nov 23 (News) – Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda will make history as the first Nigerian leader to deliver a keynote at ChangeNOW 2026, the world's second-largest summit on sustainable and climate solutions.
The event, set for March 30-April 1 at Paris's Grand Palais, will draw over 40,000 attendees from 140 countries, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors focused on green innovations.
Radda's invitation stems from a November 19 meeting at ChangeNOW headquarters with President Santiago Lefebvre, who praised the governor's renewable energy leadership. "His community-focused sustainability is exemplary," Lefebvre said, pledging support for Katsina's green programs.
Accompanied by aides Engr. Abdulaziz Kabir Abdullahi and Ma'asum Auwal Jibrin, Radda highlighted the state's solar-wind projects, afforestation, and the upcoming Green Economic Zone. "This spotlights our push for economic growth and resilience," he noted.
The summit aims to drive inclusive climate action, offering Radda a platform to showcase Katsina's hybridization of the Lambar Rimi Wind Farm and solar deployments in public institutions.
